The VASCO Consortium

The VASCO consortium includes European leading Research Institutes/Universities, large companies and small to medium enterprises, while regrouping three complementary categories of partners, with a trans-national and multi-cultural dimension.
  • End-Users: they are creative, small to medium enterprise, organisations carefully selected for the quality of their expertise, and their strong interest in the management of security crisis.
  • Research Organisations: they are world-class research institutions that carry out the foundational scientific research of the VASCO project. These well-established research centres and universities provide the required expertise in large terrain and urban visualization, as well as simulating crisis exercises and user requirements.
  • Commercial companies: The consortium also includes leading European companies with world-class expertise in the field of virtual simulation and authoring tools, innovative User Interfaces as well as 3D environment representation and capture.
